Sooooooooooo Much

Friday was a great day! I got lots done and had a great day with the girls. Jared and I had so much fun after the girls went to sleep. We got the check book caught up and then we went to watch tv in our room. We started watching a show that we needed to catch up on. We had 5 episodes to watch and we stayed up til 3am watching them! It was great "adult" time, because kids didn't interrupt! But...then we were up at 8:30am getting ready to go find some good yard sales. We were mildly disappointed. Schroon Lake has a BIG sale this weekend. Usually they fill up the town park with stuff to sell. Today, however, they only filled up half of the park. Someone gave us 2 printers and we were super excited, but then when we got home, there wasn't a power cord :( BOO!!!! So we had to throw them away. But we did find an INCREDIBLE glass cutting board that fits perfectly on our island for TWENTY FIVE CENTS!!! That's right, I said it, twenty five cents. One quarter!! That was our good find for today!
Then we came home and started to clean a little bit and get ready because Ryan Lambert was coming over to cook us dinner. Super excited!! It was sooooooooooo yummy!! Not only did he buy the food, cook it but he also cleaned the dishes!!! Sorry ladies, he's taken! After Ryan left, we let Emma play for a bit and she was sooooooooo cute! She must have taken a cute pill today because everything she did was cute! You, the reader, need to spend some time with her and you will see what I mean :) So, we gave her a bath and put her to bed. She has learned how to properly splash in the "bath tub" (a big Rubbermaid container) so bath time is a lot faster since she splashes all the water out. She went to bed easily because she only had a 30 min nap!
Labor Day fireworks in Schroon Lake, New York are the best I have EVER seen!! If you haven't seen them, then put it on your calendar for next year. Emma slept through them all and Maddie stayed in my arms content (because she had just eaten). We have a great family!! Jared and I walked outside to watch them from our driveway. I love my life! It is so calm and crazy and wonderful and wacky! Now, off to bed, hopefully at a decent hour! Until tomorrow...
