First party

Today has been a good day! I got to sleep in a little bit, the girls were good (for the most part), I got some cleaning done (woo hoo...but there is always more to do) and I was able to do my very FIRST Thirty-One party! It was super fun!! I am so thankful for those that came out and also for Amy Wallenwine for hosting it. I was just as excited about the party as what Amy was going to make for snacks!! She always does such a fantabulous job with food! She made pretzel bites, apple-berry salsa with cinnamon tortilla chips, a lemon parfait thing and had some drinks. It was so yummy!!! Needless to say, there wasn't much food left :) We had a fun time sitting around her living room, looking at the catalog and touching the products and figuring out what uses we had for the different products. We got sidetracked numerous times but it was a ton of fun!!! Let me know if you are interested in hosting a party that can be just as fun and exciting!! It's always great to get together with girlfriends and enjoy the time together!!
Emma's funny story for today: I walked into the living room because she was quiet. I didn't see her standing on the couch so I knew she wasn't "cleaning off my desk" (which is behind the couch). I didn't see her in her toy corner so she wasn't playing like a nice little girl. I saw both cats, so she wasn't hugging the cats (something she just discovered she can do). I was concerned. I walked through the baby jail gate and found her sitting quietly like a good little girl on the couch. She was quiet because she was busy ripping all of my post-its from their home (the pad). She really enjoyed it and was so cute and quiet, I couldn't get on to her too much. I just told her that she wasn't allowed to play with them and redirected her to her toys, the ones that someone was paid lots of money to develop. :) Such is life. :)

Dishes, I am going to organize the ENTIRE kitchen. I took before pictures, and I will take after pictures, well, after. :) Wish me luck! and sanity! :D haha
